The Tampa Bay Buccaneers turned back the clock Friday, a day ahead of when they were to open training camp for the upcoming football season. Four current players donned throwback jerseys from the team's inaugural season in 1976, when the Bucs went 0-14 and often were the laughingstock of the league. The orange jerseys will be worn during the Nov. 8 home game against Green Bay. Training camp kicks off today with two practices - one at 10:15 a.m. at One Buc Place that only fans with tickets can attend and then a 6:45 p.m. practice at Raymond James Stadium for which no ticket is required. ...more

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have put the wraps on their first workout of the day, but not before former University of South Florida defensive end Jarrett Buie committed the most heinous of all rookie mistakes. More than 100 youngsters with hearing disabilities received free digital hearing aids Monday, compliments of the Starkey Hearing Foundation and Publix Super Markets Charities. The children were chosen to participate in the giveaway based on the recommendations of local professionals, school districts and special education centers.
