FALCONS ...31 REDSKINS ...17 Michael Turner ran for a season-high 166 yards, breaking away from former Atlanta CB DeAngelo Hall on a 58-yard touchdown that finished off Washington early in the fourth quarter. Turner also scored from 30 yards as the Falcons built a 24-3 halftime lead. The Redskins looked down and out, losing RB Clinton Portis to an apparent concussion, and Hall lost his cool after LaRon Landry delivered a late hit to Atlanta QB Matt Ryan along the Falcons sideline. I have noticed an alarming trend in recent news. There seems to be an increase in violent crime, especially crimes against women. Even more alarming is the fact that many of these crimes go unreported, and when they are reported it is all too often women who have taken action, while men stood by refusing to get involved. ...more
