SEBRING — Residents of the Sun 'n Lake of Sebring Improvement District have been alerted to call the Highlands County Sheriff's Office in the event a solicitor knocks at the door trying to sell cleaning or other services. SEBRING — Sheriff's deputies and the Sun 'n Lake administration are warning people to lock their cars after a series of "car fishing" incidents over the weekend. "Car fishing" is when potential thieves try the door handles and look inside cars for opportunities to burglarize unlocked cars and remove people's valuables.
