The Florida Highway Patrol has identified a motorist killed this morning in a wreck on Interstate 275 near the Pinellas Park exit as Glenda K. Fresh, 54, of Largo. Troopers said Fresh was southbound in a four-door 1990 Buick about 3:25 a.m. when the car drifted onto the right grassy shoulder for unknown reasons. The car traveled south in the grass along the brush line. Once the front left tire struck a concrete wall in the grass, the Buick rolled onto its side and slid into a water-filled ditch, troopers said. The vehicle came to a stop on its roof inside the ditch. Fresh was wearing her seatbelt, troopers said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. ...more
