ECKERD COLLEGE CELEBRATES 45TH COMMENCEMENT
584 Students will Graduate; Keynote Address by Florida Congresswoman Kathy Castor; Story Tips for Eckerd Graduates
Florida Congresswoman KATHY CASTOR, who represents the 11th Congressional District of Florida, is the commencement speaker.
Graduates, faculty, and trustees will process from Hough Quad to South Beach Field at approximately 7:30 a.m. A quartet of graduating seniors will perform a special arrangement of "The Star Spangled Banner."
The 405 graduates from the Residential Program and the 179 graduates from the Program for Experienced Learners (PEL) adult degree program - totaling 584 graduates in all - will receive their bachelor's degrees in arts and sciences. The graduates hail from 41 states and 23 countries including Bulgaria, Ghana, Pakistan, Colombia, Japan, and Saudi Arabia.
