Largo woman charged with doctor shopping, drug trafficking

LARGO - A 32-year-old Largo woman was arrested Wednesday on charges she duped five doctors into prescribing her nearly 7,000 pain-killing pills over a seven-month period.
Stephanie Burstein, of 601 Eighth Ave. N.W., No. 16, was charged with 12 counts of doctor shopping and seven counts of trafficking in an illegal substance. Her bail was set at $760,000.
She is accused of getting prescriptions for oxycodone, Roxicodone, Oxycontin, Xanax and methadone.
