Congratulations to Mayor Bob Hackworth and the Democratic Party for their successful effort to bring Sen. Barack Obama and Dunedin into the national spotlight. This deal was done in a matter of two days. That's a lot of coordination in a short amount of time for any government agency.
Obama was articulate in his presentation and his message was clear: Our country is in trouble and we need not be separated by party or purpose, but should all work together as Americans with logic and one direction.
This is a different kind of war. We are fighting for our financial lives. Money alone does not solve all problems.
