Unfair Criticism

A letter to the editor in your Dec. 1 editions, "Unfair Plan," commented on the Fair Tax plan. The proposed federal Fair Tax Act would abolish the income tax and the Internal Revenue Service and substitute a national retail sales tax.
What's unfair is not the plan, but this letter. The writer appears to be completely unfamiliar with the Fair Tax plan, as his letter clearly indicates. It is quite obvious, that he never read "The Fair Tax Book: Saying Goodbye to the Income Tax and the IRS," by radio talk show host Neal Boortz and U.S. Rep. John Linder, R-Ga.
My suggestion: Read the book first, then comment
on it.
