Verizon Expands FiOS Service In Pinellas County

TAMPA - Verizon this week turned on its FiOS cable, phone and Internet service in several more neighborhoods of Pinellas County: Indian Rocks Beach, Largo, Pinellas Park, Seminole and parts of St. Petersburg.
Together, those areas represent about 1,700 homes and businesses, the company said.
Verizon began offering FiOS first in Hillsborough County. To the west, Verizon started at the Pasco-Pinellas line and is expanding south, competing directly with the dominant cable TV provider in Pinellas County, Bright House Networks.
