Palm Harbor –The Palm Harbor Literacy Council has a waiting list of over 30 adults seeking tutors who can teach reading and English as a second language.
Individual tutoring sessions, which are scheduled at the convenience of the tutor and student, take place twice per week. All tutoring materials are provided by the council at no cost.
New tutor orientation will take place Oct. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m.. Teaching sessions for tutors will follow on Oct. 20 and Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Palm Harbor Library, 2330 Nebraska Avenue.
